4. Care Instructions

To preserve the protective effect
f An accident with an impact speed of more than
10 km/h (6 mph) can cause damage to the car child
seat that is not necessarily obvious. The car child
seat must be replaced in this case. Please dispose
of it properly.
f Regularly inspect all important parts for signs of
damage. Make sure that the mechanical compo-
nents function properly.
f Make sure that the child seat is not trapped between
hard parts (vehicle door, seat rail, etc.) and
damaged.
f It is essential to have a damaged car child seat
checked (after it was dropped, for example).

4.1 Cleaning

f You can clean the plastic parts with a soap
solution. Do not use any aggressive agents (e.g.
solvents).
