6. Care Instructions

To preserve the protective effect
f An accident with an impact speed of more than
10 km/h (6 mph) can cause damage to the car
child seat that is not necessarily obvious. The
car child seat must be replaced in this case.
Please dispose of it properly.
f Regularly inspect all important parts for signs
of damage. Make sure that the mechanical
components function properly.
f Make sure that the child seat is not trapped
between hard parts (vehicle door, seat rail,
etc.) and damaged.
f It is essential to have a damaged car child seat
checked (after it was dropped, for example).

6.1 Cleaning

Make sure to use only a genuine Porsche cover,
because the cover is an essential part of the
system function. Replacements are available from
your Porsche partner.
The child car seat must not be used
without a cover.
f You can remove the cover and machine-wash
it with mild detergent at 30°C (86°F) in the
gentle cycle. Please observe the instructions
on the cover's laundry label. If the cover is
washed at a temperature higher than 30°C
(86°F), the cover fabric may bleed. Do not
spin-dry the cover and never dry it in an
electric dryer (the fabric could separate from
the cushion).
f You can clean the plastic parts with a soap
solution. Do not use any aggressive agents
(e.g. solvents).
