3.1 Fastening the Baby Shell
with Porsche Base
ISOFIX and Support Leg
1. Clip the two insertion aids* (1), with the opening
facing up, onto the two ISOFIX fastening points (2).
Note: The ISOFIX fastening points are located
between the seat surface and the backrest of the
vehicle seat.

The insertion aids facilitate installation with ISOFIX and avoid damage to
the seat cover. They should be removed and kept in a safe place when not
in use. In the case of vehicles with a folding backrest, the insertion aids
must be removed prior to folding.
Any malfunctions are usually due to contamination in the insertion aids and
on the hook. They can be remedied by removing this contamination.
