Power / Mode Button: (Fig. 2A)
Press and release the POWER/MODE button to turn the laser tool on. Pressing and releasing the
POWER/MODE button will cycle through the different projection modes as listed below:

Horizontal Laser Line
2.)
Vertical Laser Line
3.)
Laser Cross
4.)
Tilt "Manual Mode"
5.)
Off
Laser Status Indicator: (Fig. 2B)
The Laser Status Indicator LED indicates what state the laser tool is in. The Laser Status Indicator
light illuminates:
1.)
"green" when the laser tool is on and level.
2.)
"red" when the laser tool is in Manual Mode.
3.)
"red" and lasers will blink when laser is out of self-leveling range.
4.)
"red" or "green" flashing when the battery power is low.
Note: The laser tool will continue to work. Eventually, the laser line brightness will fade - Replace
with fresh batteries.
Indoor/Outdoor Mode Button: (Fig. 2C)
The Indoor/Outdoor Mode button switches the laser tool between Indoor and Outdoor modes of
operation. The laser tool defaults to Indoor Mode. Press and release the Indoor/Outdoor Mode
button to switch between indoor/outdoor modes.
Use the laser tool in Indoor Mode to project visually bright laser lines. Use the laser tool in
Outdoor Mode when outdoors or in ambient lighting conditions indoors that does not allow for the
laser line to be visually seen. Outdoor Mode will pulse the laser line so it can be used with a laser
line detector.
Indoor/Outdoor Mode Indicator: (Fig. 2D)
The Indoor/Outdoor Mode Indicator LED indicates whether the laser tool is in Indoor (non-pulsed)
and Outdoor (pulsed) mode. Indoor/Outdoor Mode Indicator light illuminates "green" when
Outdoor Mode is ON
