Using the Drawers
Crisper Drawers
The crisper is specially designed to keep vegetables fresh
and crisp.
„ Cool air circulation is intensified around the crisper.
Note: Empty and remove the door bins that are closest
to the drawers or shelf that you will be removing.
To Remove:
1. Pull the crisper drawer toward you until it stops.
2. Lift up the drawer about 1/2" (1 cm).
3. Pull the drawer toward you.
4. Remove the Crisper drawer completely.
Blue Light
Crispers are illuminated with a blue light. Food stored in
the crispers cotninue their photosythesis by means of the
wavelength effect from the blue light and thus, preserve
produce freshness and increase their vitamin content.
Humidity Control
The Crisper Drawers have a Humidity Control feature to
ensure fruits and vegetables stay fresh longer.
Heavy and hard vegetables should be put at the bottom
of the crisper and lightweight, soft vegetables should be
placed on top.
Never leave vegetables in their bags inside the crisper.
For separation purposes, use a perforated paper or other
similar packaging material.
Do not place pears, apricots, peaches, etc. (apples in
particular), with other vegetables and fruit. These items will
generate a high level of ethylene gas in the same crisper
with other vegetables and fruit. This will cause other ruit to
ripen faster and decompose in a shorter time.
Egg Holder
You can install the egg holder on the desired door or shelf.
Never keep the egg holder in the freezer compartment.
User Instructions
Chiller Drawer
This is the thin, flat drawer in the bottom section of the
refrigerator. It sits directly above the freezer drawer.
„ The Chiller drawer

„ You can increase the volume of the refrigerator by
removing this drawer.

Store food such as butter, cheese and margarine in this
section.
