Flushing the Water Line
After connecting the refrigerator to a water line or after
replacing the water filter, make sure you flush the water
system.
You will need a container to press the back of the
dispenser while catching at least 4 gallons of waste water.
Flush the Water System:
1. To discharge air from the system, use a sturdy container
to press and hold the water dispenser pad for 1-2
minutes until water comes from the dispenser. Water
flow may be irregular at the beginning. As air is purged
from the system, water may spurt out of the dispenser.
After the air in the system is discharged, water flow will
return to normal.
• The first 10 glasses of water should not be consumed.
• The first several glasses of water may be turbid when
the filter is used for the first time. Therefore, do not
consume the first several glasses of water.
• Flushing air, debris, and bad water out of new water
lines allows drinkable water as soon as possible.
• Allow 1-2 days for the system to produce the required
amount of ice.
• Allow 12 hours for the refrigerator to cool down and
chill water.
• Dispense enough water every week to maintain a
fresh water supply.
Installation Instructions
After 5 minutes of continuous flow, the dispenser will stop
releasing water to avoid flooding.
To restart the water flow, press the dispenser pad again.
