2 SAFETY STANDARDS AND INJURY PREVENTION

Carefully read all the instructions before using the equipment; if doubts arise, refer to the Dealer technicians of the
Manufacturer. The Manufacturer declines any responsibility for failure to comply with the safety and injury prevention
standards described below:
Main Standards
The device is specifically intended to be used in agriculture. Any other use is considered improper.
In the event of improper use, the Manufacturer is not responsible for damage to persons or objects. The user is the only
responsible for the risks caused by improper use of the device.
Specific use involves also complying with the operation and maintenance conditions described in this manual.
The generally accepted injury prevention standards must be complied with, as well as safety standards, occupational
medicine and traffic code.
The Manufacturer declines any responsibility in the event the user have carried out modifications to the appliance without
prior authorisation.
Safety maintenance
During operation and maintenance, use adequate personal protective devices, e.g.:
In the event operations are carried out on the electrical system, disconnect the battery.
If welding operations must be carried out on the tractor and on the supporting equipment, disconnect the battery power
supply.
Do not carry out maintenance or cleaning operations if the PTO has not been disconnected, the motor switched off,
parking brake inserted and the tractor blocked by placing a log or stone of adequate dimensions under the wheels.
All operations related to maintenance, adjustments and work preparation must be carried out necessarily with the PTO
disconnected, seed drill resting on supporting feet, tractor turned off, still and with keys removed.
Spare parts must correspond to the requirements defined by the manufacturer. Use only original spare parts.
