OPERATION
NOTICE! This compressor is equipped with an automatic reset
thermal overload protector which will shut off motor if it becomes
overheated. If the thermal overload protector is actuated, the
motor must be allowed to cool down before start-up is possible.
PRE-START CHECKLIST
1.
Always operate the compressor in a level position to allow the
tanks to drain.
2.
Inspect/clean/change intake elements on a regular basis. The
ingestion of dirt into the pump is the primary cause of premature
wear. Check intake filters daily.
3.
Check tension of bolts and hardware on a regular basis. Operation
of any equipment with loose bolts and/or fittings will lead to
excessive vibration and the premature failure of the compressor
system control components.
4.
Drain moisture from the air tanks daily. Water is a natural by-
product of compressed air. Drain the air tanks after each use to
combat internal tank corrosion. Keep drain valves open if storing
compressor for any length of time.

DAILY START-UP

1.
Ensure that the OFF/AUTO switch (K) is in the OFF position.
2.
Plug in power cord (J) to the proper electrical outlet.
3.
Turn the OFF/AUTO switch to AUTO. The electric motor will start
and fill the air pressure tanks with compressed air until the cut-off
pressure is reached.
4.
Adjust the air pressure regulator (E) to the tool's working pressure.
Proceed to use the tool.
5.
The compressor motor will start once the pressure level within the
tank falls below the cut cut-in pressure. The unit will continue to
cycle in this automatic operation until the pressure switch is turned
to the OFF position.
SHUTDOWN
1.
Turn the OFF/AUTO switch to the OFF position.
2.
Unplug the power cord.
