General Safety Advice

Safety advice
The instructions set out in this document must be followed in order
to ensure the correct use of the device column and the heater:
Compliance with these Operating Instructions.

Installation, electrical connections, commissioning, repairs and

maintenance may only be carried out by qualified technical per-
sonnel who are familiar with the relevant safety regulations.
The heater operates at 230 V AC. Before removing the power

plug always disconnect the column and the overall system from
the power. Operate the heating via a 30 mA FI circuit breaker.
The operating and maintenance personnel working on the

photoelectric safety switch installed in the device column must
be instructed by qualified personnel prior to starting work. The
instruction is the responsibility of the machine operating com-
pany.
Before operating the multiple light beam safety device refer to

the relevant Operating Instructions.
Integrate the columns into the lightning protection system for

the overall plant.
