Installation procedure (see Fig. 1):
1. Remove the housing cover and withdraw the front panel with
the heater.
2. Align the device columns for the sender and receiver parallel to
each other and secure them using either the three outer slots
or the mounting hole in the middle of the base plate.
If the mounting surface is uneven, align the device column verti-
cally using shims.
Warning
Always cut the power when making electrical connections. Do
not switch on the operating voltage for the heater until you have
inserted the plug. A 30 mA FI circuit breaker is required!
3. Thread the cable throught the hole in the base plate, wire the
M4000 or M2000 and connecting plug for the heater element
(Fig. 3).
It is advisable to connect the contamination signalling output
(OWS) of the M4000.
4. Install lightning protection based on the relevant regulations,
using the M12 tapped holes in the base plate.
