Areas of Application

The unit column with heater element is intended to house the
M4000 or M2000 multiple light beam safety devices, subject to
the following conditions:
•
The photoelectric safety switch and the heater must be perma-
nently connected to the operating voltage.
•
The salt water resistance relates to the salt particles in the
ambient air or in rain. Regular cleaning of salt residues is es-
sential.
•
The heater is specified for temperatures down to –15 °C in dry
air climates. At temperatures below 0 °C accompanied by rain
or snow, the possibility cannot be entirely excluded that the ef-
fective reflex surface of the Plexiglas screen may ice up.
•
No warranty can be provided for damage caused by animals
(birds, spiders, etc.).
•
Maximum sender/receiver range in column: 56 metres (with
M4000).
