INTENDED PURPOSE
The intended purpose of the hearing aids is to amplify
sound selectively and to transmit it to the ears of
people with a hearing disability (the hard of hearing)
to compensate for their hearing loss.
The MICROSON mc-8 RIC is indicated to compensate
moderate to profound hearing loss (conductive,
mixed or neurosensorial). Its use in children is not
recommended.
A hearing aid must be prescribed and fitted by a
hearing care specialist, who will program it and
adjust it specifically for the patient's hearing loss
and morphology in a completely personalised way.
Be aware that using hearing aids not prescribed by
a professional or devices fitted for other people can
damage your hearing.

Receiver
The RIC (Receiver in Canal) device is a type of hearing
aid that can be partially adapted to the EEC (External
Ear Canal). It is similar to a behind-the-ear hearing
aid, but in this case the receiver goes inside the EEC,
fitted via a standard dome/adapter or a custom made
earmould.
MICROPHONES: receive the sound and convert it into
an electrical signal.
AMPLIFIER/DIGITAL PROCESSOR: receive the signal
and adapt it to the parameters entered for each type
of hearing loss.
RECEIVER: converts the electrical signal back into
sound and transmits it into the user's ear.
