Maintenance
In order to comply with EN 806-5, water fixtures must
be inspected and serviced on an annual basis.
As all maintenance work must be carried out by an
installation company, it is recommended that a
servicing contract should be taken out.
If necessary, the outside surface of the filter can be cleaned.
Use only cold, clear drinking water to clean the surfaces.
Any other cleansers cause damage to the plastic
components!
In accordance with EN 806-5, the following measures must
be taken:
5.1 Inspection
Regular inspection of filter insert - approx. every 4
month.
• If contamination is high rinse preliminary filter 100
μm and replace fine filter 25 μm.
5.2 Maintenance
5.2.1 Filter bowl

Close shut-off valve on inlet and outlet

Release pressure on outlet side

Unscrew filter bowl
4.
Remove filter cartridge
5.
Insert filter cartridge in new filter bowl

Screw filter bowl in place

Open shut-off valve on inlet

Slowly open shut-off valve on outlet

Observe the local requirements regarding correct waste
recycling/disposal!
Cause
Shut-off valve on inlet is only opened
partially
Filter cartridge is contaminated
Filter is not fitted in flow direction

Replace the preliminary filter at least after 2 years or
after the third rinsing.
Replace the fine filter insert 25 μm if it is
contaminated, but at least after 6 month.
Replace activated carbon cartridge at least every 6
month.
Close shut-off valve on inlet and outlet
Release pressure on outlet side
Unscrew filter bowl
Remove filter insert
Clean or replace filter insert
• preliminary filter 100 μm can be rinsed with clear
water
• replace fine filter insert 25 μm if it is contaminated
• replace activated carbon cartridge if it is
contaminated
Screw filter bowl in place
Open shut-off valve on inlet
Slowly open shut-off valve on outlet
Disposal
Remedy
Open the shut-off valves fully
Replace filter cartridge
Fit filter in flow direction
