- Don't attempt to recharge expired batteries. There are special rechargeable batteries,
which are clearly marked with.
- Don't dispose of batteries in fire to avoid explosion.
TRANSMITTER OPERATION:
Point the remote at the infrared sensor to power the fan.
HI:
MED: turn on the fan at medium speed.
LOW: turn on the fan at low speed.
OFF:
LIGHT :ON/OFF –press and release immeditaly to turn on or off the light.
1H, 2H, 4H: program operation of the fan (but not light) 1 hour, 2 hours and 4
hours respectively. to do this, then operate the fan and press one of these 3
buttons, and after the selected time, the fan stops working (note: light can not
be programmed).
MAINTENANCE
HOW TO REPLACE A LIGHT BULB
1. Switch the device off (preferably, turn it off at the circuit breaker) and leave to cool.
(Take care: light bulbs can get very hot when in use.)
2. Remove the bulb by holding it firmly and turning it anti-clockwise.
3. Take a new bulb and put it carefully into its holder. Screw it in clockwise.
4. Put the power supply on again and switch on.
Important: The bulbs for this fan must be E 27 / 40 W maximum
CLEANING
Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Never use scouring pads, abrasive or chemical cleaners. Do not
allow condensation to come in contact with the electrical components.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in
the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected
separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they
contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed
out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose
of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority
or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
