Disconnect the machine from the gas (if applicable) and electric mains and ensure utilities cannot be switched on again in error.
Remove the screws on the left and right of the top of the lid.
Lift the front of the lid slightly, slide it to the rear and thus release the centring cones at the rear of the lid from the connection strip.
Remove the lid upwards.
Fit the electronic module EZL 235 with 4 spacers in the pre-punched holes of the side component support, Fig. 1, Pos. 1, Pos. 2.
Lay the wiring harness 51X-52X-3X3/4 (module 7 EZL 235 - Plug connection ST12, ST13) in the machine and connect it in
accordance with the wiring diagram, Fig. 2, Pos. 2a or Fig. 3, Pos. 2a.
Secure the terminal strip (5X3-4) in its intended position on the component support with the raised-head self-tapping screws
2.9 x 9.5, Fig. 1, Pos. 3.
Lay and connect the wiring harnesses as follows:
Warning!
The power and control wiring harnesses must be laid separately in order to avoid interference in the control circuit (electromagnetic
compatibility).
Excess cable should be gathered such that current flows in opposite directions and tied in order to avoid any antenna effect.
Connection of module 7 (EZL 235) as 1st multifunction module
Disconnect the plug from module ELP 235 - Plug connector ST14 and connect it to module 7 EZL 235 - Plug connector ST9, Fig. 2,

Lay the wiring harness (control) N1Q_ST112, N1Q_ST11 from module 7 (flow meter) EZL 235 - Plug connector ST111 to
ELP 235 - Plug connector ST11B, Fig. 2, Pos. 2c.
Connect coding plug MFM 1-4-5 to module 7 (flow meter) EZL 235 - Plug connector ST3, PIN 1-4-5, Fig. 2, Pos. 3.
Connect electronic module ELZ 235 module 7 in accordance with the wiring diagram.

Disconnect the plug from module EZL 235 - Plug connector ST9 and connect it to module 7 EZL 235 - Plug connector ST9, Fig. 3,

Connect electronic module ELZ 235 module 7 in accordance with the wiring diagram.
Flow meter connection and module 7 registration
Connect the flow meter to the terminal strip (5X3-4) in accordance with the wiring diagram.

Activate flow meter measuring for the appropriate flow meter (here e.g. number 1) for the control via the service mode.

Carry out a data backup via the service mode.

To quit the service mode, switch off the machine.
Carry out a functional check, e.g. with the start of a programme. This programme should take in water via the appropriate flow meter.
If the machine display does not indicate a fault, the flow meter is in order.
Carry out final work:
Refit the machine lid.
Carry out appropriate safety checks.
Reconnect the machine to the electrical supply and, if appropriate, the gas supply. Switch the utilities on.
