4.2.

USE AS A MANUAL BANDSAW (Fig. 3 - 5)

a. Secure the workpiece to be cut in the clamp using lever (27).
b. Press button (1) to commence work.
c. Lower the head slowly until it comes into contact with the workpiece.
DANGER - CAUTION
To avoid breaking the blade, reduce pressure as soon as the blade comes into
contact with the workpiece.
d. Complete cutting up to the end of the stroke;
e. Release the button (1) to stop work;
f. Lift the head as far as it will go.
DANGER - CAUTION
• Never bring hands anywhere near the cutting zone until the head has returned
to its full height and the blade has come to a complete standstill.
• Let the cut piece fall onto the base of the machine.
4.3.

USE AS AN AUTONOMOUS CUTTING SAW VERSION (Fig. 3-5-7A)

a. Secure the workpiece to be cut in the clamp using lever (27).
b. Press the "FAST DESCENT" button (33) to manually take the blade to 5 mm from the
workpiece.
c. Press button (1) to commence work.
d. Let go of the head and wait for cutting to be completed up to the end of the stroke,
DANGER - CAUTION
• Never bring hands anywhere near the cutting zone until the head has returned
to its full height and the blade has come to a complete standstill.
• Let the cut piece fall onto the base of the machine.
NOTE
At the end of the work process the machine stops automatically.
e. Lift the head as far as it will go.

5. MAINTENANCE - STORAGE - ASSISTANCE - DISPOSAL

NOTE
Routine maintenance operations which can be performed by the user are described
below.
Have the machine repaired by expert personnel only. This machine complies with all
the relevant safety prescriptions. Repairs to the machine must be carried out by skilled
personnel only using original spare parts. Failure to observe this recommendation could
jeopardize user safety.
DANGER - WARNING
• BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE WORK, PLACE THE MACHINE
IN SAFETY CONDITIONS, (SEE HEADING "GENERAL SAFETY RULES").
• PLACE THE POWER CABLE IN A COIL NEAR THE MACHINE.
