2.2.
HANDLING
a. Install the relative hoisting shackles
b. Lift the machine as illustrated in the fi gure (Fig. 2) using a hoist with an adequate hoisting
capacity or any other suitable lifting gear.
NOTE - Machine weight:
For information on the weight of the machine described in this manual, please refer to the
relative document with all the technical details provided as an appendix to this manual.
DANGER - WARNING
- NEVER ATTEMPT TO MOVE OR LIFT THE MACHINE MANUALLY.
- TO MOVE THE MACHINE LOWER THE SAW BODY TO THE END OF STROKE
AND SECURE IT IN THIS POSITION BY TYING IT TO THE CLAMP SCREW
USING ROPES OR TIES.
- ALL OPERATIONS TO MOVE AND LIFT THE MACHINE USING A FORKLIFT
TRUCK OR HOIST, MUST BE PERFORMED BY ADEQUATELY TRAINED
PERSONNEL WITH THE RIGHT REQUISITES FOR THE JOB.

TRANSPORT
DANGER - WARNING
TO ENSURE SAFE TRANSPORT OF THE MACHINE FROM ONE WORK PLACE
TO ANOTHER, REPLACE IT IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
2.4.
POSITIONING/WORK STATION
a. Secure the machine to the pedestal using the screws provided. The surface on which the
machine is placed must be big enough to guarantee machine stability (Fig. 2).
DANGER-WARNING MANUAL SAWS
Machine positioning in the work area must be performed ensuring a clearance of
at least 800 mm on all sides of the machine (see Fig. 2).
DANGER-WARNING AUTONOMOUS CUTTING SAWS
This model of machine must only be used in a dedicated environment/area to which
unauthorized access is prohibited.
If no such work area is available, it is advisable to cordon off the machine's operating
area (2 metres of clearance on all sides of the bandsaw) using red and white barrier
chain and yellow lines on the fl oor.
Put up a "No access to unauthorized persons" sign.
b. Position the machine in a work area with adequate lighting.
c. Secure the pedestal to the ground using rawl bolts (not provided). Diameter of the pedestal
hole = 10 mm.
