In accordance with the Council Directive 2006/95/EC
We herewith declare that VELUX ACtiVE climate control KRX 100
(KLF 102/3LF D02, KUC 102/3UC D02, KLA 120/3LA D20,
KLA 130/3LA D30)
- is in conformity with the provisions of EMC Directive 2004/108/EC,
Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC and R&ttE Directive 1999/5/EC and
- has been manufactured in accordance with the harmonised standards
EN 300220-1, EN 300220-2, EN 55022(2006-09), EN 55024(1998-09),
EN 50366, EN 60335-1, EN 61558-1 and EN 61558-2-16.
When the above VELUX ACtiVE climate control KRX 100 has been installed
in a system with other electrical VELUX products according to instructions,
the total system complies with the essential requirements of the Council
Directives 2006/42/EC, 2004/108/EC, 2006/95/EC and 1999/5/EC.

Important information

Read instructions carefully before installing and operating. Please keep
instructions for future reference and hand them over to any new user.
Safety
• VELUX ACtiVE climate control KRX 100 is intended for use by persons
with the relative experience and knowledge or persons who have been
given instruction concerning its use by a person responsible for their
safety.
• Before operating, ensure that the window and its electrical products can
be operated without risk of damage to property or injury to people or
animals.
• For personal safety, never have your hand or body out of the window
without first having switched off the mains or battery supply.
• Children must not be allowed to play with the window and its electrical
products, and the controller should be kept out of reach of children.
• if repair or adjustment work is needed, disconnect from mains or battery
supply and ensure that it cannot be reconnected unintentionally.
• the cable plug on products to be connected to mains supply is for indoor
use only.
• VELUX ACtiVE climate control must not be put into operation until it
has been fitted according to the instructions.
Installation
• Prior to fitting the controller, it is advisable to check whether it is able to
control the relevant sunscreening products from the proposed position
and whether it receives any signals from the outdoor sensors.
• the solar sensor must be fitted to a clean, dry surface.
• the temperature sensor must be positioned on the building in a shaded
place representative of the ambient temperature and not near a window.
• Snow, ice, leaves or the like can hinder operation of the sunscreening
products and proper functioning of the sensors.
