Fitting sensors

the solar sensor must be fitted to a clean, dry surface
on the left-hand side of the window as seen from the
outside, the diode facing upwards. Fit it with double-
sided adhesive tape as shown in installation instructions
supplied.
the temperature sensor must be positioned on the
building in a shaded place representative of the ambi-
ent temperature and not near a window. Fit the fixing
plate to the wall with the two screws supplied. Fit the
temperature sensor to the fixing plate with double-sided
adhesive tape.

Fitting controller

the controller is provided with a wall-mounted back
cover. Prior to fitting the controller, it is advisable to
check whether the controller is able to control the rele-
vant sunscreening products from the proposed position
and whether it receives any signals from the outdoor
sensors.
Note: it might take some minutes until the controller
receives signals and shows the sensor values.
Even if the mains supply has been disconnected, the
controller saves the registered products and sensors.
However, date and time are only saved for 30 seconds
after disconnection of mains supply.

Remove the back cover of the controller.

Fit the back cover to the wall with the screws supplied.

Lead the cable through the groove at the bottom of the
back cover and replace the controller.
Note: For hidden wiring, remove the knock-out at the
bottom of the back cover and lead the cable through the
hole before fitting the back cover.
