Operation and function
The KWL EC 45 units can be controlled by the KWL 45 BEU controller, there must be at least two KWL EC 45 units
connected to a KWL 45 BEU (see wiring diagram SS-1091 or 1093).
The controller enables 5-stage operation plus "OFF" function, and reversing (heat recovery (HR)), cross ventilation or
supply air mode can also be selected.
Additional functions can also be activated (see section 7.2) via an additional external contact on the controller.
The KWL 45 BEU can also be configured with the Helios EcoVent Verso (GUI Graphical User Interface) software.
The Helios EcoVent Verso (GUI) software can be downloaded from the download area on www.heliosventilatoren.de

Indication of ventilation stages and operating mode via the LED dis-
play. The functions can be selected via buttons.
Ventilation stage button: Five stages + "OFF" position
Operating mode button (LED display) for:
Supply air mode (SA)
Cross ventilation mode (CV) (no reversing mode)
Reversing mode with heat recovery (HR)
LED display ventilation stage and filter change

2. The end of the filter change interval is indicated by a blink
code (see page 10)
Controller – Rear view
The connection terminals are located on the rear side of the controller.

Important:
There must always be at least two connected KWL EC 45 units. In sup-
ply air mode, it is necessary to determine which KWL EC 45 is operated
in the starting direction Supply air and which is operated in the starting
direction Extract air. The assignment is determined by connection termi-
nals 10 and 11.
