5. INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION

PACKAGE CONTENTS

Check that no items are missing from the VIO-S118R module package. The package contains:
• VIO-S118R subwoofer
• powerCON TRUE1® cable
• quick start and warranty documentation

CAUTION
Only expert personnel may use the product and its accessories! To prevent hazards to people, animals and/
or objects, make sure that the installation is stable and secure.
Comply with the safety regulations and laws in force in the country in which you use the product. For safe
use, periodically check that all parts are in good working condition before use.
Only authorised personnel may carry out design, calculations, installation, testing and maintenance
on professional suspended or stacked audio systems. AEB Industriale shall not be held
liable for improper installation carried out without adequate safety measures.

INSTALLATION IN MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS

CAUTION
Always use safety straps when using the DO-VIOS118R trolley for handling.
Never use the handles for improper purposes such as suspension. Never climb onto the subwoofer.
To correctly and safely install any configuration not described in this section, analyse it properly using
DBTECHNOLOGIES COMPOSER.
Perform the installation on a flat surface, otherwise adopt appropriate additional fastening to prevent any
falling or overturning hazards.

CARDIOID CONFIGURATION

• It is possible to stack up to 3 subwoofer modules in a vertical
cardioid configuration.
• Use DBTECHNOLOGIES COMPOSER to set the design
parameters.
• When using remote control with RDNet and AURORA NET,
DBTECHNOLOGIES NETWORK, the local settings are bypassed
and the software has control.
