9. SEARCH TIPS

9.1 INTRODUCTION

The combination of technologies in the R2 Finder offers enhanced security and provides flexibility
in collar tracking.
When we are outside the GPS mode coverage area, with the Tinyloc equipment we have the radio
trackingmode available, which significantly increases the potential tracking range.
The radio tracking mode gives us the direction so that we can approach the GPS mode coverage
area and continue the search in GPS mode by getting the exact position and distance to the
collar.
