7.4.2 GPS ON/OFF
If you are using collars or transmitters that only work with radio tracking technology, we advise
you to use this option in order to turn the GPS device in the R2 Finder off and thus minimize the
battery consumption.
Follow these steps:
MENU>R2 OPTIONS>GPS ON/OFF>
SWITCH OFF/SWITCH ON THE GPS IN THE RECEIVER? >YES/NO.
Select "YES" or "NO" by using the side arrows in the keyboard and press "OK".
7.4.3 INFO
This option includes technical information on the R2Finder: serial number, firmware and hardware
versions, number of full memories, map option.
7.4.4 INFO GPS
This option allows the user to know all the information regarding the GPS device in the R2 Finder.
7.4.5 MAP MODE
The R2 Finder can display the position of the dog on a topographic map by means of the Uview
application. In order to use this application you must activate the "MAP MODE 1" option.
This simple application allows you to connect the R2 Finder to a laptop via a USB port for
real-time monitoring of the movements of dogs on the ground as well as to precisely locate the
position of the dog that you are trying to retrieve.
