7. R2 FINDER MENU
When the R2 Finder is switched on for the first time, a menu will automatically be displayed from
which you can access all options of the receiver.
The following times, if some collars have already been saved to the R2 Finder memory, when it is
switched on, the search screen for the last tracked collar will be shown by default. Press "OK" to
enter the MENU.
7.1 COLLAR SUBMENU
In the "COLLAR" submenu, you will find all the different options to manage the different collars.
When you first switch on the R2 Finder, only the "ADD" option will be shown. After entering the
first collar in memory, you will be able to access additional options for each collar.
7.1.1 ADDING COLLARS
To add a collar select the the "ADD" option with the
"OK".
There are three different ways to enter the collar, choose the one you need to enter your collars:
a) AUTOMATIC
b) TIN CODE
c) FREQUENCY
a) AUTOMATIC:
This option is available for Tinyloc collars, Hound Finder model. It allows you to enter the collar
automatically.
HOW TO ADD A COLLAR:
1- Go to:
2- Turn the collar on by placing the magnet on the opposite side to the LEDs.
3- While the LEDs in the collar are flashing alternately, place the collar above the receiver and
press "OK". At that time the receiver will add the entry.
4- Once the collar is entered, a name must be assigned to it (maximum 8 letters). Select letters
that appear on the screen by using the arrow keys.
5- Accept each letter by pressing "OK".
6- When you have completed the name to assign to the collar, select the icon "END" on the
lower part of the screen with the arrow keys.
7- The R2 Finder will automatically go to the search screen in radio tracking mode.
