tool. If you feel any medical symptoms related to vibrations (such as tingling, numbness, and white or
blue fingers), seek medical attention as soon as possible.
2. Do not smoke during use. Nicotine reduces the blood flow to the hands and fingers, increasing the risk
of vibration-related injury.
3. Wear suitable gloves to reduce the vibration effects on the user.
4. Use tools with the lowest amount of vibration when there is a choice between different processes.
5. Do not use for extended periods. Take frequent breaks when using this tool.
6. let the tool do the work. Grip tool as lightly as possible (while still keeping safe control of it).
7. to reduce vibrations, maintain tool as explained in this manual. If abnormal vibrations occur, stop
using this tool immediately.
operation
1. If an automatic oiler is used, add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil to the airline connection before
use. Add a few drops more after each hour of continual use.
2. Use the included hex wrench to loosen the head of the shear and rotate it to the desired position.
3. Attach an air hose to the compressor's air outlet. Connect the air hose to the air inlet of the tool.
4. Place the center blade (24) underneath the edge of the material being cut. The right and left
blades (23, 26) must be on top of the material.
5. Move the safety catch forward and push the trigger (33) down to turn the tool on.
6. Slowly push the shear through the material. When not cutting all the way through the material; keep
the shear running as it is pulled back out so that it does not get stuck.
7. If the tool requires more force to accomplish the task, verify that the tool receives sufficient,
unobstructed airflow (cfM) and increase the pressure (PSI) output of the regulator up to the
maximum air pressure rating of this tool.
cAUtION!
Do not exceed the tool's maximum air pressure rating. If the tool still does not have sufficient force at
maximum pressure and sufficient airflow, then a larger tool may be required.
8. to prevent accidents, turn off the tool, detach the air supply, safely discharge any residual air
pressure in the tool, and release the throttle and/or turn the switch to its off position after use.
Clean external surfaces of the tool with clean, dry cloth, and apply a thin coat of lubricant. Then store the
tool indoors out of children's reach.
maintenance
check the condition of this tool before each use.
1. Plug in the tool, and turn it on to run freely for one minute.
2. After the tool has run for one minute, turn it off and put 3-4 drops of light machine oil inside the
blade set assembly.
REMOvING OR REPlAcING blADES
1. Unplug this tool before attempting any maintenance.
2. loosen and remove the screws (27) holding the head and blade assembly closed.
3. to reinstall new blades, first assemble the center blade (24) in between the side knife blades
(23,26). Insert the assembled blades inside the aluminum head (21), and tighten the screws.
4. Make sure you reassemble the tool correctly. If you notice any parts loosening or wobbling while in
use, unplug the tool and reassemble the tool correctly, making sure the pieces are in the correct spot.
