COMBUSTION CHECK

CO
2
It is essential to adjust the burner with a CO
By doing so, a small miscalibration (for instance a change in draft) can not cause combustion with air
deficiency and consequent formation of CO.
CO - It must not be higher than 100 mg/kWh (93 ppm) in compliance with EN 676.
It is important to take into account that the fan air output var-
ies according to whether the burner's cover is fitted or not.
Proceed as follows:
– adjust the air damper;
– fir the cover and check the bacharach values (CO
– if necessary, change the air flow, remove the cover, adjust the
gate valve, refit and check the values again.
NOTE: When the burner runs with an output higher than 188
kW (160,000 kcal/h), remove the panel fitted within the
cover (see figure on the right).
