Bone conductive sensor
The bone conductive sensor is placed inside the front padding of the headband.
(1)
Open the front padding as shown by detaching
the Velcro fasteners.
(2)
Slide the bone conductive microphone into one of
the two pockets of the headband as shown.

Push To Talk Module
Connect the headset and the Push to Talk module using the quick release connector.
Colours of the connector vary according to the type of headset/PTT.
Two non-compatible connectors will not connect properly.

If the colours of the connector are identical, the corresponding combination is ATEX compliant.
Refer to the additional ATEX certificate for further details and conditions of use in explosive atmospheres.
If the colours are not identical but the connection is possible (Blue-Red or Green-Yellow), the combination
is not ATEX compliant and must not be used in explosive atmospheres.

Ensure the microphone sensor is positioned
towards the face.
The sensor must touch the forehead while
wearing the helmet.
(4)
Place the cable between headband and head-
band padding in a way that it does not create any
pressure points on the front.
(5)
Fold back and close the headband by attaching
the velcro fasteners.
