This section describes how to set up your QuickJack.

Your QuickJack is supplied with setup instructions that meet the criteria set by the latest version of the
American National Standard "Automotive Lifts – Safety Requirements for Construction, Testing, and
Validation" ANSI/ALI ALCTV.
Setup Safety Rules
When setting up a QuickJack, your safety depends on proper training and thoughtful operation.

QuickJack.

You need the following tools to set up your QuickJack:

Metric hex key set
•
Metric socket and ratchet set
•
Metric wrench set or an adjustable wrench
•
Screwdriver set
Tip
At some point during setup, you will need to provide some air pressure (up to 50 psi, for the Air
Cylinder) and 2.1 quarts / 2 liters of Hydraulic Fluid.
QuickJack™ Portable Car Jack
Use only the factory-supplied parts that came with your QuickJack
you use any attachments, accessories, or configuration modifying components that
are located in the load path and/ or affect operation of the Lift, affect the Lift
electrical listing, or affect the intended Vehicle accommodation, and if they are not
certified for use with this Lift, then you void the warranty of your QuickJack as well
as compromising the safety of everyone who sets up or uses the Lift. If you are

Always use proper tools, such as a forklift or shop crane, to move heavy
components. Do not install this equipment without reading and understanding this
manual and the labels on the unit.
You must wear protective equipment at all times during setup: leather gloves, steel-
toed work boots, eye protection, back belts, and hearing protection.
Keep a rag handy during setup; Hydraulic Fluid sometimes leaks.
