SPARE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES

by tampering with or work carried out by
unauthorised personnel or malfunctions caused by
the use of non-original spare parts or accessories.
II.3.1

FACTORY FITTED ACCESSORIES

FDL – Forced Download Compressors Function. Compressor modu-
lation to limit the absorbed current and power (digital input). Also used
as a "night mode" function to limit noise during night-time operation
SIL – Silenced set-up (sound-proof compressor compartment + com-
pressor ear muff)
FI15 – Condensation control with fans featuring brushless EC motor
with constant speed control up to the outside air temperature of -15°C
RAE1 - 27W electric pump antifreeze heater (available for P1-P2-PI1-
PI2- ASP1-ASP2-ASPI1-ASPI2 set ups); prevents the risk of the water
inside the pump becoming ice when the machine is switched off
(provided the unit remains powered)
RAE2 - 27W double electric pump antifreeze heater (available for DP1-
DP2- DPI1-DPI2- ASDP1-ASDP2 set ups); prevents the risk of the
water inside the pump becoming ice when the machine is switched off
(provided the unit remains powered)
RAS - 300W antifreeze electric heater for water buffer tank (available
for ASP1- ASP2 -ASDP1 -ASDP2 -ASPI1- ASPI2 installations); to
prevent the risk of ice formation in the water buffer tank when the
machine is switched off (as long as the unit is not disconnected from the
power supply)
RAB – Base antifreeze heater (EWMIG)
RAP – Unit with copper/pre-painted aluminium condensation coils
BRR – Unit with pre-painted copper/aluminium condensation coils
BRH - Units with copper/aluminium condensing coils with hydrophilic
treatment (for EWMIG)
V3V – Unit complete with 3-way diverter valve for the production of
domestic hot water. Available only with PUMP set-up – single electric
pump, not available with DS and RC100
DSP – Double set-point via digital consensus (incompatible with the CS
accessory) Only with Precision setting
CS – Scrolling set point via analogue signal 4-20 mA (incompatible with
the DSP accessory). Only with Precision setting.
DS - Desuperheater. Also active during winter operation for EWMIG
RC100 - Heat recovery unit with 100% recovery
LDK - Refrigerant leak detector
EEM – Energy Meter. Measure and display values of the electrical units
- See specific section for more information
GM - Refrigerant circuit high and low pressure gauges.
II.3.2

ACCESSORIES SUPPLIED SEPARATELY

KSA – Rubber anti-vibration mountings
KFA – Water filter
KRIT – Additional electrical resistance for heat pump, controlled by
regulation
KVDEV – 3-way valve in protective casing for the production of
domestic hot water, managed by the setting. Available only with Pump
set up, not available with V3V set up mounted
KEAP – Outdoor air temperature probe for set-point compensation (as
an alternative to the outdoor temperature probe fitted), incompatible
with the CS accessory
KTRD - Thermostat with display
KTR – Remote keypad for control at a distance with LCD display and
same functions as the machine. Connection must be made with a
6-wire telephone cable (maximum distance 50 m) or with KRJ1220/
KRJ1230 accessories. For greater distances up to 200 m, use an AWG
20/22 shielded cable (4 wires+shield, not supplied) and the KR200
accessory
KRJ1220 – Connection cables for KTR (20 m length)
KRJ1230 - Connection cables for KTR (30 m length)
KR200 - Remote Control Kit for the KTR accessory for distances
greater than 50 m and up to 200 m (AWG shielded cable not supplied)
KRS485 - RS485 interface for serial communication with other devices
(proprietary protocol; Modbus RTU protocol)
KFTT10 - LON interface for serial communication with other devices
(LON protocol)
KBE - Ethernet interface for serial communication with other devices

II.4

TRANSPORT - HANDLING AND STORAGE

DANGER!
The unit must be transported and handled by
skilled personnel trained to carry out this type of
work.
IMPORTANT!
Be careful to prevent damage by accidental
collision.
II.4.1

PACKAGING COMPONENTS

DANGER!
Do not open or tamper with the packaging before
installation. Do not leave the packaging within
reach of children.
SAFEGUARD THE ENVIRONMENT!
Dispose of the packaging materials in compliance
with the national or local legislation in force in your
country.
The EWMIG 236÷260 models are supplied:
 covered with nylon shrink-wrap.
Each unit is supplied complete with:
 User instructions;
 Electronic control manual;
 Wiring diagram;
 List of authorised service centres;
 Warranty document;
 Use and maintenance manual for the pumps, fans and safety valves.
II.4.2

LIFTING AND HANDLING

DANGER!
Movement of the unit must be performed with care,
in order to avoid damage to the external structure
and to the internal mechanical and electrical
components. Also make sure that there are no
obstacles or people along the route, in order to
prevent the risk of impact, crushing or tipping the
lifting and handling device.
Use a fork-lift or pallet truck to move the machine with its packaging
intact to the final installation position.
Pass the straps through the slots on the base of the unit, having first
checked their suitability (their strength and the state of wear and tear).
Take the strain on the slings, checking that they remain properly
attached to the lifting-hook; lift the unit a few centimetres, then, only
after checking the stability of the load, carefully carry the unit to the
installation site.
