MP3 character search

Press AMS button three times to select "CHAR SCH" mode.
Press MENU and "A" displayed. If you press MENU more than 0.5 second, a track with
MENU
the letter "A" will be displayed.
If you want to select a track name beginning with a different letter, rotate the knob to se-
lect a letter, then press MENU to confirm. Then "A" flashes at the next place, select 2nd
and other character of the desired track name as steps above.
DN
Press MENU more than 0.5 second to play your desired track. For example: To search
VOL
character "ECHO".
UP
For example : to search character "ECHO".
Connections with I-Pod
The unit is suitable for direct connection with Apple I-Pods up to the 4th generation (2007) .
After having connected the I-Pod to the USB-socket, the battery recharge-function will be available and
the files will be handled exactly as MP3-files.
These are the only functions that will be possible:
TRK SCH - Search trace
TRK +10 - Skip 10 traces forward
TRK -10 - Skip 10 traces backward
CHAPTER SRC - Search by name.
A maximum of 999 tracks can be handled (please see chapter Reproduction of MP3-files).
NOTICE:
The I-Pods of higher generation can be connected to the front AUX-pin, by means of the cable 4/147 .
The VM022 is NOT compatible with I-PHONE and I-TOUCH .
