Wenn die Flamme an Brenner nicht mehr durch
den elektrischen Zünder gezündet werden kann,
ist die Batterie auszutauschen.
Die Kappe des elektrischen Zünders hierbei zum
Öffnen nach links (gegen dem Uhrzeigersinn) schrauben.
Die leere Batterie gegen eine volle Batterie ersetzen und
die Kappe des elektrischen Zünders durch Drehung im
Uhrzeigersinn wieder aufschrauben.
Die leere Batterie nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgen,
sondern bei Batteriesammelstellen abgeben.
II. Connexion of the device to the gas cylinder (Image 2)
The following parts are necessary for connexion to the device:
-
customary gas cylinder
-
firmly adjusted, DIN-DVGW approved pressure regulator (enclosed),
1.5 kg/h, compatible for the gas cylinder used, see factory adjustments
for operating pressure.
-
DIN-DVGW approved 1.60 m long hose line (enclosed)
-
approved leak-detection spray or foam forming media
(e.g. Enders Gas Control Spray Item No. 1196).
Gas cylinder connexion:
1. Attach the pressure regulator (1) to the gas cylinder.
2. Connect the hosing (4) to the connector on the pressure regulator
using the clamp (26) provided.
3. Connect the gas hose from the burner (5) to the gas hose from the
regulator (4) using the quick coupler (6) provided.
4. With the regulator valve (2) open, check that none of the connection
points are leaking gas. If there is no bubble formation, no leaks are present.
III. Instruction for commercial use
In accordance with BGV D34 (VBG 21), a hose breakage covering in accordance with DIN 30 693 "Hose breakage coverings for liquid
gas devices" and a safety pressure regulator with excess pressure safeguard must be used in commercial applications (e.g. at fun fairs).
Hose breakage covering and excess pressure safeguard are not part of the scope of delivery.
IV. Startup
1. The column (3) may not be lowered for startup!
2. Open the cylinder valve (25).
3. Press the regulator knob towards the large flame symbol as far as it will go, whilst simultaneously repeatedly depressing the piezo-
electric ignition. Hold the regulator knob for about 10 seconds after ignition in order to activate the ignition safety switch. Should the gas
fail to ignite after pressing the piezo-electric ignition 3 or 4 times, leave the appliance for about 2 minutes and then repeat the process.
Note: It is possible to ignite the appliance using other ignition devices (gas lighters, matches) through the 18.5 mm aperture in the bottom
of the burner.
