DATE SETTING
Ulysse Nardin watches offer a great comfort to the users : quick
corrections of the date can be effected backward and forward.
Important note : To avoid damaging the gearing mechanism of
the movement, please refrain from correcting in crown position B
(quick corrector of the date) between 10:00 pm and 02:00 am. We
suggest adjusting the hour hand at 6 o'clock before activating the
quick setting device.
Pull the crown into position B. Turn forward or backward until the
required date appears in the window.
PRECISION
Precision and average daily rate depend on the activity of the person
wearing the instrument. Violent shocks or knocks - quite common
in tennis or golf - should be avoided to prevent shaking that may
loosen certain parts.
Because a mechanical watch is a fine piece of miniature engineering
consisting of well over 100 individual parts, its precision will never
match that of a quartz timepiece.
