5.5. BATTERY CHARGING
The supply voltage and current must comply with the
information on the rating plate of the charger.
To charge the battery plug the charger into the
network. Place the battery in the charger, the led will
light red. The led will change from red to green when
the battery is fully charged.
When the battery is charged, remove it from the
charger. If you insert the battery in the charger and the
LED starts flashing red, it means that your battery is
damaged or that the battery does not correspond to
this charger.
Important! If you fully charge your battery, disconnect
it from the charger and reconnect it without using it,
the LED may start flashing red (broken battery signal)
when it detects that the battery does not accept
load. In this case the flashing red LED does not mean
that the battery is damaged.
Recharge the battery when you notice that the power
of your machine decreases. Avoid using the machine
until the battery is fully discharged
Notes:
- The battery will require 2 or 3 complete cycles
of charge discharge until it reaches its maximum
capacity of energy storage.
- This battery has no memory effect so it is not
necessary to discharge it completely before
reloading it.
- If you are not going to use the battery for a long
period of time, charge it to the maximum, store
it in an appropriate place and recharge it every 30
days.
Follow the following tips to ensure that your battery's
charging capacity is maintained as long as possible:
- Avoid completely discharging the battery. The life
of the battery will be longer if you recharge the
battery when you notice that the power of your
machine decreases and do not let it run out
completely.
- Always recharge the battery after using the
machine. Do not store the battery discharged or at
half load.
- Always recharge the battery inside your house
and garage to preserve the battery and charger
from moisture and inclement weather.
- Recharge the battery at temperatures between
5º C and 40º C.
- Always keep the battery away from water, damp
areas, heat sources and chemicals.
5.6. START UP AND STOPPAGE
Start up the machine:
Press the security button (1)
and without letting go, press
the On/Off switch (2).
Stoppage of the machine:
Let go of the On/Off switch (2).
5.7. CHECKING POINTS PRIOR TO USING THE
MACHINE
Check all the machine and make sure that there are
no loose parts (screws, nuts, knobs etc) and any
damages to the machine. Tighten, repair or replace all
necessary equipment prior to using the machine.
Check the state of the catcher and that it is properly in
place. Do not use the machine if it is damaged or not
properly regulated.
