1. Unlock and remove the coupler from the vehicle press-
ing the coupler button (typical in North America) or
follow the vehicle direction to disengage the vehicle
lock on the coupler (typical in Europe). The charge
station should return to Power On state
( ).
2. Close the vehicle charge port cover.
3. Wrap the loose cable around the remote dock.
4. Plug the coupler into the remote dock.

Troubleshooting

HMI state Recommended actions
Unpowered Make sure that the circuit is operational and
that the circuit breaker is switched on. If the
problem persists, please contact Ford Cus-
tomer Service.
Not Charging 1. Make sure that the station is not in a
locked state.
2. Make sure that the station has its power
switched on.
3. Make sure that the vehicle coupler is
properly inserted into the vehicle.
4. Verify and adjust your vehicle charge
scheduling or time preferences.
5. Verify that the vehicle is not fully
charged already.
Unexpected 1. Make sure that the vehicle coupler is
standby properly inserted into the vehicle.
