Proper maintenance of your drive chain and associated parts is essential. Please ensure compliance according
to the intervals specified in the Tables of Scheduled Maintenance and Check:

It is imperative to replace the drive chain when the chain stretch exceeds 5% of its original length. The
most effective way by which to measure the chain is by carrying out the check at several points along
the chain (20 links).
2.
Tighten the chain adjusters to move the rear axle rearward until the drive chain is tight (no slack). .
3.
Measure the length of 20 links on the straight part of the chain from pin centre of the first pin to pin
centre of the 21
pin. If any measurement exceeds the service limit, then it is time to replace the chain!

Examine the front and rear sprockets spacing as well. If the chain is worn out, then replace the
sprockets as well.
2.
Rotate the rear wheel to also inspect the drive chain for damaged rollers for wear If there is any
irregularity, replace the drive chain.
7.
Lubricate the chain thoroughly using the recommended LUB' CHAINE
