5.5.1 Examples of electrical installation

■ Installation with boiler equipped with a DIEMATIC-Delta panel,
using the # misc function; domestic hot water: boiler/immersion

Setting parameter # misc; domestic hot water is used to choose the tank
charging mode.
● In "boiler" mode (factory setting), the domestic hot water is prepared all
year round by a tank with an exchanger, the primary exchanger being
connected to the boiler.
● In "immersion" mode, the domestic hot water is prepared in winter
by the boiler and in summer by the immersion heater. With this type
of operation, the auxiliary circuit outputs are used to switch the tank
loading mode when moving from winter mode into summer mode.
During the winter period, the auxiliary circuit outputs are deactivated and
the tank is loaded with the boiler. When switching to summer mode, the
domestic hot water is no longer heated by the boiler and the auxiliary
output is used to control a device which loads the tank via the immersion
heater (thermostatic control).
