Removing the tank adapter
1) Remove the upper manifolds and the backwash valve by unscrewing the bolts and slip them off.
2) Remove the safety clip and the safety filament from the tank adapter. Then remove the valve body from the adapter.
Installing the tank adapter
1) In order to install tank adapter in the correct position, is compulsory that the arrows on the valve bodies indicate the
same direction as the arrows molded on the tank adapter.
2) Insert the safety filament in the hole showen in picture 1 and push it until it comes out from the other side.
3) When remounting the safety clip pay attention to the chamfer, the inserting direction is shown in picture 2.

Remove the piston and seals and spacers
1) After removing the cap use pliers to extract the piston.
2) Remove the circlip with a proper tool
3) Use a hook tool to extract seals and spacers. Pay attention to the sequence of seals and spacers, they must be
reinstalled in the same sequence.
Installing seals and spacers
1) Insert the seal and spacers inside the valve body one by one. To
force the external orings into the groove, use a cylindrical tool to
press.
2) Close the seal and spacer pack with the safety cirlip.
3) Insert the piston and install the cap.
