MAINTENANCE

Before any intervention on the valve:
1. Make sure that the power supply, inlet pressure, and pilots pressure are shut off. Also make sure that
any external devices that may be connected to the valve are disconnected from power supply (dosing
pumps, booster pumps etc.).
2. Loosen the connections between the piping and the valve in order to depressurize it.

Removing the cap:

1) Before shutting off the power supply and the pressure, put the valve in the brine position so that the pistons are in the

position shown in picture 1.

2) Depressurize the valve by disconnecting the piping from the quick connection.

3) Push hard on the cap until the housing of safety filament is completely reveled.

4) Extract the safety filament by inserting a screwdriver into the slot and force it out (see picture 2).

Installing the cap
1) Install the back spacer; correct mounting position allows to see the plastic symbols indicated by the white circles in
picture 1.
2) Install the o-ring.
3) Insert the cap and press it down to reveal the groove where the safety filament has to be installed.
4) Install the safety filament in its groove; make sure the beginning of the filament is positioned to at least 15 mm from the
slot that allows the insertion of the screwdriver for further cap removing.
