7.2. WORKING DEPTH OF THE LEVELLING UNIT

Levelling units can have their working depth adjusted in line with changing soil
types, plant growth, and operational speed. Setting the working depth of the
levelling unit via screw spindle. Set the left and right spindles to the same length.
It is recommended to start with the levelling unit at maximum height and then
lower it gradually until the right position.

POSITION
Support wheel position can be adjusted by means of a special stay rod.
Scale for working depth:
The scale helps you to set the spindles to the same length

Shorten/lenghten the spindle to reduce/increase the working
depth. See the index :
•
Align horizontally the machine with the lower tractor bar
•
Ensure that support wheel are not bearing the whole machine
weight
•
When cornering sharply, the machine is to be lifted using the
tractor's lower links.
