Risks of Injury

• Keep children and animals away from the packaging material and the product. There
is a danger of suffocation!
• CAUTION! The blades are sharp! Handle the product with care!
• Cut up food only by pressing down on the cover! Do not attempt to push food through
the cutting inserts by hand.
• Only ever use the cleaning scraper which is supplied to remove food residues from
the cutting and grating inserts or the slice and stick cutting inserts.

For Your Health

• There may still be some production residues on the product. To avoid harmful effects
to your health, clean it thoroughly before you fi rst use it (see the "Cleaning and Stor-
age" chapter).
• Clean all inserts immediately after use to prevent the formation of germs!
The Proper Handling of the Product
• Always place the product on a dry, fl at, stable and non-slip surface.
• Make sure prior to each use that the product is correctly assembled, is not damaged
and is in good working order.
• The product should not be used if it is damaged.
• If the product is damaged, do not attempt to repair it yourself. In the event of any
damage, contact our customer service department.
• Use only the accessories supplied, or accessories expressly recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Do not drop the product or subject it to any impacts.
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, wide temperature fl uctuations,
direct sunlight or persistent moisture.
• Maintain a suffi cient distance from sources of heat, such as hobs or ovens.
