5 – First Use
Checking the tacker and package
contents.
1. Remove the tacker from the
packaging.
2. Place the tacker on a flat and sta-
ble surface, e.g. a workbench.
3. Check that the contents are com-
plete (see illustrations 1, 2 and 3).
4. Check for any apparent damage
to the tacker or the individual
parts. Should this be the case, do
not use the tacker. Contact the
manufacturer's service centre indi-
cated on the warranty card.
6 – Operation
Charging the battery
• The battery should be delivered
partially charged. Charge the bat-
tery before initial use for at least
60

• If the battery charge indicator
light (1) turns red during opera-
tion, the battery charge is less
than 30% and should be
recharged.
1. Insert the power plug of the
charging cable (11) into a proper-
ly installed power outlet.
2. Plug the charging cable into the
micro USB charging socket (8).
The battery charge indicator LED
shows red.
3. As soon as the LED of the battery
charge indicator glows green, the
battery is charged. You can
unplug the charging cable from
the micro USB charging socket.
Filling the staple magazine
At the level indicator (6)
you can see if there
are still staples (7b) or
nails (7a) in the staple magazine (9).
1. Make sure that the tacker is
switched off and that the on / off
switch (4) is in the „O" position.
2. Squeeze the staple magazine
lock (5) and pull the staple maga-
zine out to the rear.
3. Place the staples or nails
into the staple magazine (see
illustration 2).
4. Push the staple magazine latch
back into the stapler until the sta-
ple magazine snaps into place.
