Please Note!
■
For reasons of hygiene, the water in
the water tank should be changed
each time before you cook anything.
■
Ensure that there is suffi cient ventila-
tion while the device is in operation.
■
Do not use the device for longer than
3 hours without a break.
■
The device must not be moved dur-
ing operation.
■
Make sure that the food does not
come into contact with the heating
element of the device.
■
Make sure that foodstuffs containing
oil and fats are not overheated.
■
The device only works when the
drawer has been fully closed.
■
Do not overfi ll the drawer so that the
hot air can circulate optimally inside
the cooking chamber. Fill it no more
than 2/3 full.
■
Always place the drawer and the
rack if applicable on a heat-resistant
surface after use.
■
Do not use the device if it has mal-
functioned, fallen or been dropped
into water. Have it checked in a spe-
cialist workshop before using it again.
Notes on Cooking Time and
Cooking Temperature
Be aware that the preset cooking tem-
peratures and cooking times of the
programmes are averages. As ingredients
differ due to their origin, size, shape and
brand, we cannot guarantee the optimum
setting for the ingredients. The actual
cooking times may therefore vary de-
pending on the portion size. Make sure
prior to serving that the food, in par-
ticular meat and poultry, is fully cooked
through!
1. Get ready the food that is to be
prepared.
2. Insert the rack (9) into the drawer (13).
3. For steaming mode, fi ll the water
tank (10) (see the "Filling the Water
Tank" chapter).
4. Place the food in the drawer.
5. Insert the drawer into the main
unit (4).
6. Touch the fi eld
on the device. All elements on the
control panel (3) will light up.
7. Select the mode you want (hot air
(18) / steaming
symbol of the set mode fl ashes.
8. Select a programme (23) or set the
temperature (17) and timer (22) man-
ually. If a preset programme is set, it
fl ashes on the control panel.
9. Start the cooking process via the
fi eld
. The heating process starts
and the operating lamps (19) light
up constantly. The temperature and
the remaining timer time are shown
alternately on the display.
Once the set time has elapsed, the
heating process stops automatically
and OFF appears on the display. The
fan continues to run for a few more
seconds to cool down the device.
You will then hear fi ve beeps and the
device switches off completely.
10. Pull the drawer out of the main unit
by the handle (12) and place it down
on a heat-resistant surface.
If the drawer is removed from the
main unit during the cooking pro-
cess, this process is paused. The
display shows – – –.
The cooking process is resumed
when the drawer is inserted back
into the main unit.
11. Take the food out of the drawer.
12. Allow the device and accessories to
cool down and then clean them (see
the "Cleaning and Care" chapter).
