FILTRATION
Once the initial filtration process is complete (when the pool water is clean) all the pool water should be recycled at least
once a day through the filter.
The part of the filter which actually cleans the water is the cartridge which can be found inside the filter. The cartridge
consists of a polyester fabric with a gauge of approximately 20μm. that retains dirt. The frequency of changing the cartridge
will depend on several factors i.e. the dirtiness of the water, filtration hours and the volume of the pool. When the quantity
of water returned to the pool drops, this usually means that the cartridge needs cleaning.
5. MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION: Make sure that a prefilter cone is placed in the suction pipe to prevent the pump from blocking.
CLEANING THE CARTRIDGE
Make sure the filter has been disconnected from the power supply.
Using the lid spanner remove first the filter lid, then de transparent lid inside and finally remove the cartridge.
Place the cartridge under low pressure running water (not a jet) from a hose until the filter is clean (Fig. 12). Replace the
cartridge correctly inside the filter, put the lid back on the filter and do it up tightly by hand.
Before starting the filter up again remember to prime it first.
Should the cartridge need replacing, simply slot in a new one.

6. SAFETY WARNINGS:
Never have the filter running when the pool is in use. Never touch the filter with damp/wet hands.
Whenever you need to inspect the filter, remember to disconnect it from the power supply first. Make sure the floor is
completely dry before touching the electrics.
Do not install the filter near water for obvious safety reasons.
Do not let adults or children sit on the filter.
Do not use the suction hose to suck up dirt from the pool floor as the pump doesn't have a prefilter and this could
damage the pump.
TROBLE SHOOTING
The pump has been connected and there is no flow to the
return pipe.
The filter leaks from the threaded ends of the hose.
The filter has very little flow.
Dirty water coming from return hose.
Water is leaking from the filter lid.
There is air left inside the filter.

SOLUTIONS
See section "priming the pump".
Unscrew the hoses and add more Teflon tape to the thread.
The cartridge is dirty and needs cleaning.
Look the cartridge over and check its general condition.
Tighten the lid with the spanner.
Make sure that the 0'ring seal n° 3 has been put in correctly.
Open the air purge on the filter lid.
