1. Plug the transformers output lead into the socket marked
'POWER', at the left side of the filter manifold.
2. Plug the transformer into an electrical outlet.
PRESSURIZING
1. Open the stop valve on the storage tank.
2. Open the drinking water faucet.
3. Gently open the water supply to the appliance to purge
the appliance and fill it up with water.
4. As soon as water starts to flow from the drinking water
faucet, slowly yet steadily, close the faucet.
5. Wait for 5 min. and check the appliance and all polytube
connections for leaks. If any leaks are observed, shut off
the water supply and open the drinking water faucet
immediately.
RINSING

Before using the appliance for the first time, the
appliance MUST be thoroughly rinsed as per the following
procedure!

The appliance is equipped with a filter cartridge
containing activated carbon. At first use some discoloration
of the filtered water may occur. This is totally harmless and
will disappear after proper rinsing!

At first use the filtered water may be slightly non-
transparent (milky appearance) when it flows from the
faucet into a glass; this is caused by oxygen inside the filter
cartridges, that is dissolved in the filtered water. This is
totally harmless and will disappear after proper rinsing!
1. Make sure the appliance is in service: water supply is
open, stop valve on the storage tank is open, power
supply is connected.
2. Wait for 60 min. to allow the appliance to completely fill
the storage tank with purified water.
3. Open the drinking water faucet and let the water run for
15 min. to drain the storage tank; close the faucet as soon
as the water flow slows down noticeably, indicating that
the storage tank is completely emptied.
4. Wait for 60 min. again to allow the appliance to
completely fill the storage tank with purified water.
5. Open the drinking water faucet and let the water run for
15 min. to drain the storage tank; close the faucet as soon
as the water flow slows down noticeably, indicating that
the storage tank is completely emptied.
