FILTER MANIFOLD
The appliance is designed for floor-standing installation.
Always place the appliance with the filter manifold in
horizontal position and the filter cartridges pointing
vertically downwards.
Make sure there is sufficient clearance left/right, to
connect the polytubes and the power supply.
Picture 1&2&5
1. Select an appropriate location under the sink for the
installation of the appliance.
2. Make sure that the filter cartridge interfaces in the filter
manifold are in the unlocked
manually rotate the interface counter clockwise to the
unlocked
position.
FILTER CARTRIDGES
Do not change the sequence in which the filter
cartridges are installed in the filter manifold, as this may
lead to damage to the filter manifold or filter cartridges.
Remove the protective plugs from the inlet/outlet ports
on the top of the filter cartridge before installation in the
filter manifold. Once the protective plugs are removed from
the filter cartridge, we recommend to install the filter
cartridge in the filter manifold as soon as possible, to avoid
contamination of the filter cartridge.
Make sure that the O-rings are present on the
inlet/outlet ports on the top of the filter cartridge before
installation in the filter manifold.
Picture 6&7
1. Write the next date of replacement of the filter cartridge
in the field provided on the top of the label of the filter
cartridge.
2. Take the filter cartridge and hold it with the front label
facing you; turn it 90° to the left.
3. Insert the filter cartridge in the empty slot in the filter
manifold and lock it by turning it 90° to the right to the
locked
position.
4. Repeat this procedure for all filter cartridges.
5. Install the cover over the booster pump and carbon block
filter cartridge.
6. Place the filter assembly on the selected installation
location.
STORAGE TANK
Position the storage tank as close as possible to the filter
manifold, in order to minimize the length of the polytube
between the filter manifold and the storage tank.
1. Screw the plastic stop valve on the threaded connection
of the storage tank; make sure the gasket seal is installed.
Tighten it firmly.
2. Place the storage tank on the selected installation
location.

WATER SUPPLY
A male/female T-adaptor with ½" BSP thread is supplied
with the appliance for the connection to the cold water
supply inside the house; the threaded connection on the cold
water supply line in the house should therefore be ½" BSP
also.
The filter manifold is equipped with integrated
automatic shut off valves to shut off the water supply when
a filter cartridge is removed from the filter manifold.
Nevertheless, the T-adaptor is equiped with an integrated
stop valve, so the water supply to the appliance can be shut
off whenever necessary (in case of a leakage, maintenance,
longer period of non-use, etc).
The most convenient installation location for the T-
adaptor is immediately after the existing stop valve in the
cold water supply line of the kitchen faucet.
Make sure to shut off the water supply to the place of
installation, before you start any plumbing work.
Picture 1
1. Remove the connection of the kitchen faucet from the
outlet of the existing stop valve.
2. Screw the T-adaptor with integrated stop valve to the
outlet of the stop valve; make sure the gasket seal is
installed. Tighten it firmly.
3. Install the connection of the kitchen faucet to the
threaded connection of the T-adaptor.
DRAIN
A drain saddle for 40 mm / 1 ½" pipe with polytube 3/8"
connection is supplied with the appliance for the connection
to the discharge pipe of the sink.
We recommend to use the appliance in combination
with the supplied drinking water faucet with integrated air
gap. If another faucet without integrated air gap is used, a
suitable drain connection with air gap needs to be provided
and installed by the installer.
The drain saddle should always be installed before the
air trap, and preferably on a horizontal section of the
discharge pipe, with the polytube connection pointing
vertically upwards.
Picture 1&3&4
1. Select an appropriate location on the discharge pipe of
the sink; mark the position for drilling the hole.
2. Drill a hole with diameter 6 mm / ¼" through one side of
the pipe. Clean the surface of the pipe around the drilled
hole.
3. If not yet applied, apply the foam gasket around the hole
of the polytube connection at the inside of the drain
saddle clamp.
4. Position both halves of the drain saddle over the pipe and
align the polytube connection with the drilled hole in the
pipe; by sticking a small drill bit through the polytube
connection, you can easily verify the allignement of the
drain clamp.
5. By means of the bolts and nuts, clamp both halves onto
the pipe; tighten the bolts evenly; do not overtighten.
