General system description:

The
LUX-top
SDH
system is a roof safety hook (DIN EN 517:2006 Type B), which is
used for attaching roofers' ladders / duck runs and roofing trestles, and as an anchor
point for attaching the personal protective equipment against falls from a height (safety
gear) for 1 person maximum for work in areas in which there is a risk of a fall from a
height.
The system is tested as a roof safety hook to EN 517 Type B in all loading directions
(eaves, verge and ridge).
The installation must be carried out according to the manufacturer's specifications (see
installation instructions) on an adequately firm, stable load-bearing surface (load-bearing
roof structure).
Important: Use original parts only!

If used on slate roofs
(LUX-top
SDH-S) the roof safety hook is bolted directly into the
rafters through the boarding, in accordance with the installation instructions.

The variant for tiled roofs
(LUX-top
SDH-Z II) is also bolted directly into the rafters
through the cross lathing, in accordance with the installation instructions.

A roof batten is also required for installation on plain tile roofs
(LUX-top
SDH-B). The
roof safety hook is bolted into the rafters through the roof battens, in accordance with the
installation instructions.
