Rotor protectors
Rotor protectors are included. They differ in A/B remarks. The marks are placed between the two screw bits.
Rotorprection A
= Silver cap
Rotorprotection B
= Black cap
Unmount the 2 screws that hold the white LED board on the arm. Attach the rotor protection instead and fix it
with the screws.
We highly recommend to mount the rotor protectors if you are a beginner as these prevent damages on the
model!
Adjust the compass to the flight area
System-calibration = sensor adjustment
To use the full functionality of the zoopa Q Evo 550 one system calibration per location is required.
Take all parts of the quadrocopter (controller and fully charged LiPo battery) on a free space (meadow etc.).
The sensors locate the magnetic field of the ground. Make sure that no other magnets (motors, speakers etc.)
are around.
Do a new calibration when you change the location.
1. Switch on the controller
Switch on the controller, the LED flashes green and a beep- sound appears.
The control sticks have to stay in center position. Do not perform any commands!
2. Connect the LiPo-battery
Insert the battery into the compartment, the cables shall point towards you.
Connect the T- cables of the zoopa Q Evo 550 with the battery. The white balancer plugs are not required.
The quadrocopter performs a high sound.
Move down the right stick on the controller (in Mode 2) into the right down corner, this has to be performed
within 5 seconds after connecting the battery. Close the battery compartment.
The zoopa Q Evo 550 confirms the calibration phase with a fast flash of the blue LEDs.
