IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

This rotisserie frame HD6971/00 with battery motor works only in combination with
the Philips grill HD6371 and HD6372.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed including the following:
1
Read all instructions.
2 Do not use rotisserie or metal frame in a microwave, toaster oven, convection
or conventional oven or on a glass or ceramic cooktop, electric coil, gas burner
range, induction range or an outdoor grill or fire.
3 It is recommended to grill only ingredients up to a maximum weight of
2.5 kg / 5.5 lb, completely fit within the metal frame and easily turn on spit
without hitting or touching metal frame or grill bottom as they turn.
4 To prevent eye damage, do not look into the light of the lamp when it is on.
5 Metal frame and spit rods, bearing part, meat forks and grill become HOT
during cooking. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Handle using
oven-safe mitt, glove or pot holder. Do not touch any parts during or for some
time after use. Allow to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts or
cleaning.
6 To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance base
in water or other liquid. If the appliance base falls into water, unplug the cord
from outlet immediately. Do not reach into liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children
or invalids. Children should not play with the appliance.
8 Do not attempt to remove or dislodge food while the rotisserie or grill is turned
on and when the grill is plugged into a power outlet.
9 Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
10 Always switch the appliance to off ("0") and the rotisserie to off ("0") after use
and before you unplug it.
11 Unplug the appliance if you have dropped it.
12 Unplug from outlet when not in use and before moving or cleaning appliance.
13 Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures or place it on or near a
working or still hot gas or electric burner, stove or cooker, or in a heated oven.
14 Never leave the appliance unattended while operating.
15 Plug in the device only in wall sockets which are fuse-protected with a 20A fuse,
if you use the device longer than 1 hour.
16 Do not operate the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug, grid, drip
tray or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner

17 The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
