6 Then, remove the filter cover from the plastic
dust filter. The cover is under cyclone separator.
In order to remove turn it anti-clockwise and
push it down.
7 If necessary, cyclone saparator can be
removed by pushing down. All parts included
in plastic dust filter except cloth dust bin filter
are washable.
8 Place the cyclone saparator, filter cover and
cloth dust filter back on the plastic dust filter
after cleaning.
9 Place the dust container lid with the plastic
dust filter back into the dust container.
10 Make sure that the cyclone separator is positi-
oned properly so that the notches on the sides
of it are lined up with the locking pins on the
dust container
.

Caution
Dry the separator completely before replacing.

The cyclone separator should not be submer-

ged in water.
Never use detergents or boiling water to wash
█
the filters.
The dust container, including plastic dust filter
█
must be inserted before the appliance is star-
ted as otherwise the motor will be damaged.

Cleaning the HEPA filter
1 Turn the HEPA filter cover anticlockwise until the
arrow shows the unlocked symbol on the filter
cover and pull the cover out.
2 Take out the HEPA filter. The filter can be tapped
against the side of a dust bin for removal of the
excess dust.
3 Wash the HEPA filter in warm water (maximum
40ºC), rinse very well and leave to air dry.
Caution:
Never put the filter into the washing machine or

dry it with a hair dryer.
Ensure the filter is completely dry before putting
█
it back into the cleaner. Allow to air dry for 24
hours before replacing.
Do not use detergents or boiling water to wash
█
the filter.
The HEPA filter must be inserted before the ap-
█
pliance is started as otherwise the motor will
be damaged.
4 When the HEPA filter is completely dry, insert
it back into the appliance before restarting.
