2. Unscrew the battery compartment's two fastening screws on the back of the device with a suitable
Phillips screwdriver.
3. Carefully lift the battery compartment's lid and remove the block battery (if applicable) from the
plastic cover.
4. Replace the battery with a new one of the same type. Observe the correct polarity.
5. Close the lid and fasten the screws tightly.

fuse replacement

• Make sure that only fuses of the type stated and for the rated current specified
are used as a replacement. Using repaired fuses or bridging the fuse bracket
is not permitted.
Take care not to damage the sensitive electronic components inside the device.

We recommend having fuse replacements done by an expert or specialised
repair shop.
1. Unscrew the six outer fastening screws on the back of the device with a suitable Phillips
screwdriver.
2. Remove the housing cover.
3. In the lower area, two current fuses are located. Lift out the relevant fuse using a small screwdriver
and replace it with a functioning fuse of the same type.
4. Carefully close the cover again and fasten the screws.
Connecting the measuring lines
• Before connecting the instrument check the connector plugs and/or measuring prods and the
insulation each time for damages.
• These measuring lines and your measurement instrument are approved for voltages up to max.
250 V DC / V ACrms of overvoltage category III. Take particular care when dealing with voltages
exceeding 25 V AC or 35 V DC.
Never exceed the max. input values, as any damage to the measuring instrument
could put users in danger!

Initial operation

You can use the range selection switch to turn the measurement device on and off. To turn it on, switch
it from the „OFF" position to the desired measurement range.
The range selection switch is not to be operated during measurements.
